RP150 NMEA REPEATER To display the 150 SERIES data at other locations, the RP150 repeater is the answer. The RP150 displays digital wind, depth, speed, and log information on a bold, easy to read display. In fact, with 4 separate inputs and a menu of 38 different NMEA repeatable sentences, the RP150 can repeat almost anything from anybody. For example, when repeating from the Horizon GPS Chart Plotter, you can choose from a menu of many different items like headings, bearings, distances, speeds, COG (true or magnetic) and cross track error.GREAT DISPLAYThe RP150 features a high contrast LCD display with big bold digits that are easy to read in any light condition. A rugged non-corrosive case features a curved lens that reduces glare. Backlighting optimizes night viewing.UNCOMPLICATED INSTALLATIONInstallation is a breeze without the use of special tools. The RP150 is a square 4-inches instrument flush mounts for custom looking installations. The case protrudes less than 1 inch from the bulkhead and only 1-inch into the surface. Of course, the RP150 instrument outputs reliable NMEA data, for interface with repeaters and other electronics.

How do I turn the power on and off on my instrument?
In a typical wiring situation the instruments are wired directly to an accessory panel or the ignition. When power to the boat is turned on the instruments are designed to turn on automatically as well, making an on/off switch on the instrument unnecessary. When interfacing with a Furuno Fish finder, I do not get any NMEA depth data.
The Furuno NMEA output needs to be set to NMEA 0183 version 1.5. This way the Furuno will output the proper depth sentence (DBT) to the repeater.I do not get navigation information when interfacing other NMEA instruments.
First you must go throught the data search mode by pressing and holding the NMEA and UP key for seven seconds. The unit will automatically detect any NMEA information being sent to it. After completing the data search mode, Press and hold the NMEA and DOWN key for seven seconds to enter the NMEA setup mode. Now you have the option of turning ON or OFF any NMEA information being sent to the unit. After turning all the desired functions ON, exit the NMEA setup mode by pressing the NMEA and DOWN key. Now you will be able to select the different navigation pages by pressing the NMEA key.
